A disagreement, an inside joke, a moment of trust or something difficult you worked through can become part of how the relationship develops afterward.

Why there are not more of them
Eudaio does not try to release hundreds of interchangeable premade companions. Origins, our curated companions, are individually written and tested, because the harder question is not whether a character feels interesting for five messages. It is whether they still feel distinct after hundreds or thousands.

Your conversation is not the only source of context. Companions can have routines, jobs, schedules and their own ongoing stories.
They can respond to local time, weather, current events and other context outside the immediate chat. Continuity means there is something happening on both sides of the conversation.

No. Eudaio runs in your browser, so there is nothing to download. You can install it from the browser if you want, with Add to Home Screen on iPhone and iPad, or Install on Chrome and Edge. It then opens full screen with no address bar, and on iPhone and iPad installing is also what lets your companions reach you when they have something to share.
Yes. You can create your own companion, called a Morph, and give it as detailed a backstory, personality and setting as you want, then play that out in conversation. The hand-written companions carry full backstories too, so you can step into a scene with one of them instead. How Morph works
