Build a Morph
How to create your own Daimon
Build the person you wanted to meet, then keep editing them later.
Build the person you wanted to meet
You don't have to pick from Eudaio's ready-made Daimons. You can create your own.
A Daimon you create is called a Morph.
You decide what they look like, where they're from, what they're into, their personality, their job, how they know you, and what history you already share.
Creating a Morph is free. Crush adds a few extras:
- Writing a custom job in your own words (Free has a list of preset jobs)
- Unlimited Refine (on Free, it shares your hourly message allowance)
- Any number of Morph chats (Free allows one at a time)
Start with where they're from
Choose your Morph's nationality.
It sets a starting point for some appearance choices, but it doesn't lock you in.
For example, skin tone starts out matching the nationality you picked. If you change it yourself, your choice wins.
Changing nationality later won't overwrite appearance choices you made on purpose.
Do I have to configure every appearance field?
No.
Each field shows what it will actually produce, so you can see what you get before you change anything.
Leave a field alone if the suggestion fits, or change as much as you like.
Appearance options include:
- Body type
- Hair style
- Hair color
- Eye color
- Skin tone
- Face shape
- Lip size
- Freckles
- Tattoos
- Glasses
- Facial hair
- Outfit style
- Body proportions
Every appearance option is available on every plan.
How do personality traits work?
Choose up to five.
Traits set the broad shape of your Morph's personality before you meet.
They don't force every reply to sound the same. They're who your Morph is at the start.
How do interests work?
Choose up to ten interests.
They give your Morph things they actually care about, so you don't have to bring up every topic yourself.
You can search the list.
What relationship can we start with?
You decide how the two of you know each other at the start.
Options include Girlfriend, Wife, Ex, Stepsister, Best friend, Roommate, Neighbor, Coworker, Boss, Teacher, Nurse, Landlord, and more. You can also type your own.
Every relationship option is available on Free.
It sets the situation for your first conversation. It doesn't hand you the Trust and Bond that normally come from actually getting to know each other.
Can I choose their job?
Yes.
Free includes a list of preset jobs.
On Crush, you can also write any job in your own words.
What is the backstory for?
A backstory tells your Morph what happened before your first message.
Maybe you've known each other for years. Maybe you met once and never forgot it. Maybe you already share an apartment and argue over bills.
It's optional, but it means you don't have to start as two strangers in an empty chat.
What if I'm bad at writing backstories?
Give Refine almost nothing. A sentence, a phrase, or even one word works.
Write the core idea and tap Refine. It turns your idea into a full backstory and keeps your idea at the center.
For example, just "bills" can become a shared apartment, a pile of envelopes, a calculator, and money neither of you wants to talk about.
If you don't like the result, Undo brings back your own words.
On Free, Refine uses your hourly message allowance. On Crush, it's unlimited.
Can I choose their first message?
Yes.
You can pick from preset opening messages.
On any plan, you can also write the first message yourself, so the relationship starts with a real situation instead of a generic hello.
Can my Morph follow news from where they live?
Yes.
You can choose their news region, so the current events they know about fit the person you built.
It doesn't have to match their nationality.
What language will my Morph speak?
The menus follow your display language.
The conversation follows you. Write to your Morph in another language and they reply in that language.
Can I change my Morph later?
Yes.
From the chat header, you can change their job, daily routine, whether they work weekends, where they live, and their picture.
You may talk to them for a long time, so the parts of their life that change don't have to be fixed on day one.

Can my Morph use Eras?
Yes.
Morphs unlock Eras through the Trust you build with them, just like Origin Daimons.
So the person you created can have a present-day relationship with you and separate stories in other settings.
How many Morph conversations can I have?
Free allows one active Morph chat at a time.
Crush removes that limit.
Either way, you can still talk to any Origin Daimon.
What's the difference between an Origin and a Morph?
Origin Daimons are people we've written and curated by hand, with deeper backstories, their own life, job, city, and opinions. You meet them.
Every time we add or change a feature that could affect them, we test them thousands of times to make sure their personalities stay the same after the update. Some new features also come to Origins first.
A Morph is someone you design, so their personality leans much more on the backstory you give them. The personality traits and interests you pick give them a solid foundation, and the more you put into the backstory, the more they have to work with.
After that, both relationships grow the same way: through what you talk about, what they remember, and the Trust you earn.
